google offers Google will launch Google Offers, a new service that will take on group discount sites such as Groupon and LivingSocial. The products are specifically designed to help people create, communicate, share opinions and find information. It indicates that Google Offers subscribers will receive a daily e-mail offer for a buy-in discount.
Google is preparing to launch Google Offers, the search giant's Groupon competitor, Mashable has learned. We have the documents to prove it. One of our sources has sent us a confidential fact sheet straight from the Googleplex about the company's new group buying service. "Google Offers is a new product to help potential customers and clientele find great deals in their area through a daily email.
Google will offer three downloads in that Middle Eastern country, which has a history of tense relations with the United States: Chrome, which is a Web browser; Picasa, which is a photo-sharing service; and Google Earth, which lets internet users explore global topography and maps in three dimensions.
